Making A Move

Making A Move is an easy to use collection of 30 Primary Dance lessons for the primary teacher or community artist.

The plans have been devised in response to the covid 19 requirements and allows socially distanced creative dance whilst retaining interaction with peers.

The lessons have been written by Claire Pring, Louise Jaggard and Jo Cone.

Making A Move - Making It Easy...

Each plan is in an easy step by step structure where the teacher simply asks questions to enable the children to generate movement ideas. The skills of each section are identified to aid assessment & progression, as is a suggestion of suitable music – just hover your cursor over it for an embedded hyperlink.

The lessons are ‘stand-alone’, yet they include ideas for differentiation that could be used to develop the work over several sessions.

Making A Move - Making It Available...

The resource is available as a download so that you can use it immediately!

It has been designed so that each lesson plan can be printed onto one page of A4. Each page includes hints & tips to support good classroom management, inclusion and differentiation - the skills of each section are also identified to help identify progression.
